The Opportunity

Having a sense of community and togetherness is an essential part of any organization. People are more likely to thrive when they feel like their work is contributing to something meaningful. And they are more likely to be productive when they have a good rapport with their colleagues.

The problem is, people seem to be more disconnected than ever before. According to a 2021 study of 600 companies, 85% of employees are not engaged in the workplace. This can create problems for the organization:

  • 96% of executives say poor collaboration and ineffective communication are leading issues in the workplace.

  • 86% of executives cite ineffective communication as a major source of productivity failures.

  • 87% of professionals worldwide feel stuck and crave a creative outlet.

The Art of Connection

Our goal is to help organizations overcome disconnect by bringing a sense of equality, mindfulness, and lasting inspiration through collaborative paintings.

Each participant is like a brushstroke; everyone plays a role in the final outcome. No single contribution is more important than another.

Workshops include journal prompts and conversation starters designed by a professional certified coach. It is an environment where team members can get to know each other better. Social bonds generate 50% of our individual sense of purpose. Collaboration on Canvas is purpose driven human connection.

Participants are given the opportunity to take a break from day-to-day work and enjoy a relaxing pause.

In the end, everyone experiences a shared sense of accomplishment in a painting that will bring fresh energy to any space.

76% of companies that invest in creativity have happier employees.

We Can

Humans are reminded of our differences every day. In fact, we have so many differences that we often forget the few things we all have in common. One of those things is our ability to create and gather meaning from colors, shapes, and sounds. Remarkably, we can communicate emotion and a message through a simple work of art.

As we get older, we are led to believe that being an artist is a gift reserved for a chosen few. But art is not some precious thing that requires natural-born talent - we are all capable of making it. In fact, it is no more unique to us than breathing.

You won’t live forever, but with a little courage and a little paint, you can create something that will.
